Do you want to reconnect and improve communication in your relationship in a short space of time?

I will coach you both through a new way of communicating called the Imago Dialogue process. This allows you both to be heard, understood and to be able to address what needs to change in a safe and calm way.

I will send you some pre-session reflective exercises so that we can make the most of our time together. These excercises will help you reflect on your own patterns and ways of relating, what you need from your partner and what's getting in the way of connection. You will also decide together a focus or topic for the day. I can help guide you with this.

Envision your future together

In the session you will create together a Relationship Vision. This will include all the things that are important to you both in your ideal relationship and ways of being able to ensure you have steps to work towards this after the day.

Who is a Couples Coaching day for?

This one day session is great for couples who know they want to improve their communication and emotional intimacy.

How do I work with couples?

I am a certified Imago Couples therapist and Coach. Imago was created by Harville Hendrix and Helen Hunt in the 1980s. Imago helps to normalise our relationship struggles, in fact Imago theory suggests that we will all unconsciously pick a partner who will challenge us. Once we know this we can work on this with our partner in a positive and fulfilling way.

Is this way of working suitable for everyone?

Couples Coaching is not suitable for couples in crisis or where there is any level of physical aggression, violence or emotional abuse. I would in this instance recommend speaking to an individual therapist and seeking advice and information from https://idas.org.uk
